SAN LEANDRO UNIFIED SCHOOL DISTRICT The SLUSD serves a student population of 8,460 through its system of 8 elementary schools, 2 middle schools, one high school, one continuation high school, and one independent study program. In addition, the San Leandro Charter Academy has been developed to serve K-8 grades. SAN LORENZO UNIFIED SCHOOL DISTRICT The SLzUSD serves a total student population of 11,460 of which almost 3,000 are San Leandro residents. Three elementary schools, one middle school and 43% of Arroyo High School in the San Lorenzo school district serve San Leandro residents.
